Sprocket & Sprout ("we," "us") runs sprocketandsprout.com and the Sprocket & Sprout show. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who this website is for

Our episodes are made for children ages 2–4 to watch with a grown-up. This website, our printables, store links, emails and community are for parents, caregivers, educators and other adults. Sprocket & Sprout does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

What we collect

Information you give us: when you download the Passport, join our weekly email, or use the contact form, we collect the parent or caregiver's first name, email address, and anything you choose to write in a message.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our site host (Wix) collects basic technical and usage information, such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location based on IP address, using cookies and similar technologies. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

We do not ask for a child's name, age, birthday, photo or other personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us.

How we use it

To send the Passport and the weekly email you asked for (new episodes, activities, printables, book picks and supply lists). To answer your messages. To run, secure and improve the website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and send email, such as our website and email platform (Wix). They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Affiliate links

Some links on our site go to Amazon and ShopMy. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. When you click those links, those companies may collect information under their own privacy policies.

YouTube

Our episodes are hosted on YouTube, and our channel is designated as made for kids. When you watch on YouTube, Google's privacy policy applies.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. Ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@sprocketandsprout.com. Manage or block cookies in your browser settings.

Children's privacy

If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email hello@sprocketandsprout.com and we will delete it.

Keeping information safe

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and we use the security measures provided by our service providers to protect it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
